How Sheet Format Pro handles the limited data needed to provide formatting, licensing and support.

Sheet Format Pro formats cells you select in Google Sheets. It runs inside Google's Apps Script infrastructure and does not send your spreadsheet values, formulas, notes or validation rules to this licensing service. A merge safety check may read selected values, formulas, notes and validation rules inside Google's infrastructure to prevent data loss; that content is never sent to us.
When you activate or use a Pro feature, the add-on sends your license key, a random installation identifier and the product identifier to this service over HTTPS, to check whether Pro access is currently valid. It does not send your spreadsheet ID, document name, selected values, formulas or Google account email.
To deliver and manage a purchase we store: your email address, your license key, plan/status/expiry, the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers needed for billing, and a hashed record of each Google account you activate the add-on with, up to the account limit. We do not store spreadsheet content.
Purchases are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Transactional email (license delivery, payment recovery, cancellation confirmations, and support replies) is sent through Microsoft Graph.
We record a small set of non-identifying, aggregate operational counters (for example: how many checkouts started today) to spot problems; these never include a name, email, IP address, license key or account identifier. Separately, the public website may show a banner asking whether you'd like to help us understand which page visits lead to a purchase. Nothing is recorded from that banner unless you actively accept it; declining or ignoring it records nothing. Accepting generates a random, anonymous identifier stored only in your own browser, used to avoid counting the same visit twice for up to 90 days, after which it is automatically deleted; it is never linked to your name, email, account or license. You can opt out and have that identifier's data deleted immediately at any time from the link in the site footer. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
You can request deletion of your account data, recover or resend your license by email, revoke an account, or cancel a subscription from the manage page or by contacting support@anhbui.dev. Deleting stored data does not cancel an active Stripe subscription automatically; use the cancellation control or contact support.
